Trump was asked about the sale of aircraft to Turkey during his flight to Michigan, and he, apparently dismissing Netanyahu's words, said: "Nobody tells me what we have to sell."
"Turkey has been a great ally for me," he said of the country's president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan. "I think he has done a very good job, handled Syria well. He is my friend."
When asked whether his views align with Netanyahu on the war against Iran, Trump replied: "We have small differences, but we are quite close, yes."
