Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba warned that the day may come when EU leaders will be forced to send Western combat troops to Ukraine, as Putin will not stop if Ukraine loses the war.

EU leaders need to get used to the idea that the day may come when they will have to send Western combat troops to Ukraine. If Kyiv loses, Russian President Vladimir Putin will not stop there.  This was stated by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in an interview with Politico, UNN reports

As Kuleba pointed out, although Ukraine has never asked for "European combat troops on the ground," EU leaders need to get used to the idea that "this day may come." 

"I understand perfectly well that Europeans are not used to the idea of war. But this is a carelessness that Europeans simply cannot afford - neither for themselves nor for their children," Kuleba said. 

He also added: "Ukraine can win. But if Ukraine loses, Putin will not stop."
