In Ternopil region, a Volkswagen crashed into a Peugeot - there are injured and fatalities, including a child

On Thursday, August 13, a road accident occurred at the 28th kilometer of the M-09 Ternopil–Lviv–Rava-Ruska highway. This was reported by UNN, citing the Patrol Police of Ukraine.

The vehicles collided near the village of Yarchivtsi. There are people injured in the accident.

Later, the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in the Ternopil region reported that two people had died as a result of the accident.

According to law enforcement officers, the driver of a Volkswagen Golf, traveling toward Ternopil, crossed into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a Peugeot.

Four people were in the Volkswagen. As a result of the collision, the driver and a 14-year-old female passenger died. Another female passenger was hospitalized with injuries. The driver of the "Peugeot Expert" and three underage passengers were taken to hospitals in the regional center
