In the Kyiv region, the elimination of a large-scale fire that occurred as a result of a Russian attack on the night of July 19 has been completed, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on Monday, writes UNN.

According to the State Emergency Service, a large-scale fire broke out as a result of a Russian attack on one of the facilities in the Bucha district. The flames, as stated, engulfed two warehouse buildings with a total area of about 100 thousand square meters.

The work to eliminate the fire and its consequences lasted more than a day and required the involvement of significant forces and resources: more than 200 rescuers and 70 units of special equipment worked on site, including aviation (including 3 helicopters) and robotic equipment.

"Thanks to the coordinated and professional actions of the State Emergency Service units, the fire was completely extinguished. Currently, the dismantling and watering of the building structures is ongoing," the State Emergency Service noted.
