General Staff confirms damage to Slavyansk oil refinery in Russia and other occupation facilities

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the damage to the Slavyansk oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Krai and the Nikolaevskaya oil depot in Rostov Oblast. A field artillery depot in Luhansk Oblast and a drilling rig in the Caspian Sea were also hit.

"The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to inflict effective strikes on strategic facilities of the military-industrial complex and the oil refining industry of Russia," the report says.
On the night of December 17, 2025, units of the Defense Forces, using Deep Strike assets, struck the infrastructure of the Slavyansky oil refinery in the city of Slavyansk-on-Kuban in the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation. Explosions and a fire were recorded in the target area. The extent of damage to the enterprise is being clarified.
The Slavyansk Oil Refinery, as noted, as of 2025, processes crude oil and condensate with a capacity of about 5.2 million tons per year. It is involved in supplying the armed forces of the Russian occupiers.
Damage to the Nikolaevskaya oil depot in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation has also been confirmed. According to preliminary data, a tank and the river vessel "Captain Gibert" were damaged.
"In addition, as part of reducing the enemy's offensive potential, a field artillery depot of a unit from the 101st separate logistics brigade of the invaders was hit in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region," the report said.
As indicated, the damages are being clarified.
"According to the results of previous missions, it was established that on December 14, our attack UAVs hit the R. Graifer drilling rig in the Caspian Sea. Damage to the stationary platform, which houses the operational and technical module for preparing and pumping extracted gas, was confirmed, as a result of which all 14 wells were stopped (the total volume of extraction of which was almost 3.5 thousand tons per day)," the General Staff reported.
