Fedorov demonstrates AI turret for intercepting Russian drones

Minister Fedorov showcased an AI turret for the automatic destruction of fiber-optic drones. The system is already in use by more than ten units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ukraine's Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov demonstrated the operation of a Ukrainian AI turret capable of automatically detecting and destroying targets, including enemy fiber-optic drones. Fedorov reported this on Telegram, according to UNN.

AI-powered turrets from a Brave1 platform participant against fiber-optic drones. Such drones cannot be suppressed by electronic warfare (EW). Therefore, Ukraine has learned how to shoot them down. The system autonomously detects the drone, tracks the target, and calculates the trajectory. The operator confirms the strike with a single button press
He noted that the soldiers of the K-2 brigade were the first to use the turret against enemy fiber-optic UAVs. Today, this weapon is operational in more than 10 units.
The key task is to scale the solution faster than the enemy can change their technology
