The FBI has detained a group of individuals who planned a drone attack on a UFC event attended by Donald Trump. The planned attacks were successfully and completely stopped.

The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation has reported the disruption of a planned potential drone attack on the UFC America 250 event in Washington, which was attended by U.S. President Donald Trump. This was stated by FBI Director Kash Patel, UNN reports.
According to him, on June 10, the FBI, along with law enforcement partners, received information regarding a potential threat to the UFC America 250 event in the U.S. capital.
"Thanks to the swift actions of the FBI, our partners, and the Department of Justice as part of a multi-state operation, several individuals were detained, and the planned attacks were completely halted," Patel stated.
He did not specify the nature of the threat; however, a number of American media outlets report that it involved the possible use of drones.
The FBI Director emphasized that the operation served as an example of effective cooperation between federal and local law enforcement agencies.
"We are built to identify threats, respond to them, and hold accountable those who threaten the lives of American citizens, especially during mass events. That is exactly what we did," he noted.
According to Patel, the investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement will continue to inform the public within the limits permitted by law.
