Putin and Trump did not discuss a possible meeting with Zelenskyy in the US – Ushakov

Putin's aide Ushakov stated there have been no negotiations regarding a meeting of the leaders in the US. Russia has not yet received any official proposals.
U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin did not discuss the possibility of organizing a meeting with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on U.S. territory during their recent contacts. This was reported by Russian media, according to UNN.
According to Ushakov, Russia has not received any official proposals regarding the organization of a meeting in the U.S. involving Putin and Zelenskyy.
"No one has approached us with such proposals yet. I have seen mentions of this in media reports, but nothing more," Ushakov told reporters.
He also emphasized that during the contacts between Putin and Trump, the issue of holding a potential meeting between Zelenskyy and Putin in the U.S. was not raised.
"No, such a possibility was not discussed," Ushakov replied to journalists.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that he had discussed the idea of a possible meeting with Putin on U.S. territory with American leader Donald Trump.
