Police have increased security at churches in the capital during Easter, involving cynologists. Additional groups have been created for prompt response to calls.

In Kyiv, the police have stepped up patrols during Easter, the Main Directorate of the National Police in the capital reported on Saturday, writes UNN.
More than 160 churches and temples in the city, where services are held, are under the close supervision of patrols, which include police officers from various units, National Guardsmen, and cadets of the National Academy of Internal Affairs.
As noted, the main task of law enforcement officers is to ensure public order, prevent possible offenses, and provide prompt assistance to residents and guests of the city.
Employees of the canine service, together with service dogs, inspect churches, temples, and the surrounding areas for explosive objects.
In particular, additional investigative and operational groups have been created for a more prompt response to citizens' appeals.
"We urge believers to treat the implemented security measures with understanding and to be vigilant: do not ignore air raid signals, promptly go to shelters, observe the curfew from 00:00 to 05:00, and avoid conflict situations," the police emphasized.
