Ukrainians warned of possible provocations and terrorist attacks by Russia on Easter
Kyiv • UNN
The Security Service urges Ukrainians to be vigilant due to the threat of strikes on crowded places. Citizens are advised to avoid provocations and seek shelter.

The Security Service of Ukraine urged citizens to be vigilant and observe safety rules during Easter. Ukrainians were reminded that the main "targets" of the occupiers are places where large numbers of people gather, regardless of the purpose and location of civilian objects, UNN reports.
The Security Service records regular attempts by the enemy to destabilize the situation inside Ukraine, particularly on the eve of and during major religious holidays, such as Easter. Despite the aggressor country's statements about a so-called "truce," enemy special services do not abandon their plans, continue to work against Ukraine, and resort to information-psychological special operations, provocations, terrorist acts, and sabotage.
The SBU added that they systematically act proactively and prevent most such crimes.
Among other things, the Ukrainian special service regularly exposes Russian agents artificially inciting conflicts between representatives of different denominations and religious communities. In parallel, SBU counterintelligence exposes enemy attempts to recruit Ukrainians to prepare terrorist attacks and adjust air strikes on the civilian infrastructure of our state.
The main "targets," as noted by the SBU, of the occupiers are places where large numbers of people gather, regardless of the purpose and location of civilian objects.
SBU officers and other law enforcement agencies work in an enhanced 24/7 mode and systematically counter threats. At the same time, the vigilance and attentiveness of every citizen remain an important component of security.
The Security Service urges Ukrainians during the Easter period to:
▪️ be especially vigilant when attending mass events;
▪️ not succumb to provocations or incitement to illegal actions;
▪️ report suspicious objects and persons who may cause provocations or pose a potential threat to law enforcement agencies;
▪️ report contacts with strangers who offer "easy money";
▪️ not ignore air raid signals and stay in shelters;
▪️ provide assistance to other citizens if necessary;
▪️ observe the established curfew, etc.
Reminder
The SBU operates a special 24/7 hotline at 1516.
