As a result of hostilities and shelling of energy facilities in the Donetsk, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions, electricity supply is temporarily unavailable. No restrictions are forecast for today; restoration work is ongoing.
Due to enemy attacks, some consumers in three regions are without electricity, the Ministry of Energy reported, adding that no outage schedules are expected, UNN writes.
As a result of hostilities and shelling of energy facilities, some consumers in the Donetsk, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions temporarily remain without electricity
As stated, restoration work is underway wherever the security situation allows. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore power to all consumers as quickly as possible.
"The introduction of restrictions is not forecast for today. Today, active electricity consumption should be shifted to daytime hours—from 10:00 to 17:00," the statement says.
According to Ukrenergo, electricity consumption is in line with seasonal levels. Today, August 14, as of 09:30, it was at the same level as the previous day—Thursday. Yesterday, August 13, the daily consumption peak was recorded in the evening. It was 1.6% lower than the peak of the previous day—Wednesday, August 12. The reason was the easing of the heat and the lack of need for widespread use of air conditioners in most regions of Ukraine.
