54 combat engagements recorded at the front, enemy attempted to advance 13 times in the Pokrovsk direction - General Staff

Since the beginning of the day, the aggressor has attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 54 times. This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, writes UNN.

Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today, in the Sumy region, the settlements of Iskriskivshchyna, Tovstodubove, Bachivsk, Rohizne, Korenyok, Sopych, Volfyne, Kucherivka, Holyshivske, Ryzhivka, Stukalivka, Budky, Prohres, Kozache were affected.

In the Northern-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, two combat engagements took place, the enemy carried out 44 shellings of settlements and positions of our troops, one of which was with the use of a multiple rocket launcher.

In the Southern-Slobozhansky direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units twice in the Vovchansk area.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy tried twice to improve its position in the direction of Novoplatonivka. One combat engagement is ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, since the beginning of the day, there have been four enemy assaults towards Stavky and Lyman. Two combat engagements are still ongoing.

In the Sloviansk direction, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has launched two attacks on the positions of the Defense Forces in the Yampil area.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defense Forces twice in the area of the settlement of Nykyforivka.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, the invaders carried out 12 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Sofiivka, and towards Novopavlivka. Three combat engagements are ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have tried 13 times to push our soldiers out of their occupied positions in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Myrnograd, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, and towards the settlements of Shevchenko, Bilytske, Novopavlivka. Two combat engagements are still ongoing.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, our defenders repelled three enemy attacks towards Kalynivske, Verbove, and Oleksandrogorod. Velykomykhailivka, Kolomiitsi, Andriivka, Fedorivske were subjected to air strikes. One combat engagement is ongoing.

In the Huliaipole direction, the Defense Forces repelled nine enemy attacks towards the settlements of Svyatopetrivka, Staroukrainka, Zaliznychne, Olenokostiantynivka, and in the area of the settlements of Varvarivka, Pryluky, Tsvitkove. One battle is ongoing. The enemy launched air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Vozdvyzhivka, Nizhenka, Zirnytsia, Verkhnia Tersa, Charivne, Liubytske.

The settlements of Mykilske, Yurkivka, Zarične were subjected to air strikes in the Orikhiv direction.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy carried out three futile assault actions in the direction of the Antonivskyi bridge.

The situation in other sectors of the front has not undergone significant changes so far. No attempts of enemy advance have been recorded.
