Ukraine has repatriated the bodies of 501 fallen soldiers from different areas of the war. Most of the bodies were returned from the Avdiivka sector - 382, there are also bodies from Bakhmut, Maryinka and other frontline areas.
On the morning of August 7, Russian troops shelled Antonivka and Mykhailivka in Donetsk region. As a result of the attacks, 4 civilians aged 52 to 65 were killed and another man was injured.
Another five militants who fought against Ukrainian forces in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions were sentenced to 15 years in prison for the assaults on Avdiivka, Bakhmut and Robotyno based on evidence provided by the Security Service of Ukraine.
Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region is turning into Bakhmut or Marinka due to intense Russian shelling and a large number of guided aerial bombs dropped on the city, destroying buildings and causing significant damage.
The Russian army continues to send reinforcements to the north of Donetsk region through Mariupol.
