The company will produce military equipment and ammunition for the needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. In particular, it is expected that in Ukraine, KNDS will produce spare parts and ammunition for Caesar guns and AMX10RC tanks, which France supplied to Kiev. At the same time, the company can produce spare parts for German self-propelled howitzers Panzerhaubitze 2000 and Main Battle Tanks Leopard 2.
Thus, the KNDS branch in Ukraine will help ensure prompt repair of already delivered military equipment manufactured in France and Germany.
Addition
In March of this year, Germany and France reached an agreement that would allow the French-German tank manufacturer KNDS to establish a local branch in Ukraine to produce spare parts and train local workers.
