The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is initiating procedures in UNESCO due to the damage to the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra caused by a Russian strike. Andrii Sybiha demands an immediate international response to the crime.

Ukraine is initiating relevant procedures within the framework of UNESCO and other international mechanisms, demanding an "immediate and adequate response" to the Russian strike that significantly damaged the buildings of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. This was reported by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha, according to UNN.
"We are currently dealing with Russian terrorists who have already surpassed ISIS in their crimes against cultural heritage. Only Russian scum, who have nothing sacred, could deliberately damage the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, a unique UNESCO heritage site under special protection,"
Sybiha added that by striking this site, one of the greatest shrines of Christianity, Russian leader Vladimir Putin has "forever inscribed his name in the list of the worst barbarians in history."
"We are urgently initiating all relevant procedures within UNESCO and all other international mechanisms, demanding an immediate and adequate response to this state barbarism,"
