Russian shelling of Ukrainian cities can be stopped by providing more air defense systems and long-range strikes on Russian terrorists' locations, President Zelenskyy believes.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russian shelling of Ukrainian cities can be stopped with more air defense systems and longer-range strikes on the places where Russian terrorists are based, UNN reports.
Zelenskyy noted that rescue operations have been ongoing in Dnipro since the Russian missile strike. More than fifty people were injured, all are being provided with the necessary assistance. As of this time, five people have been reported dead - my condolences to their families and friends. In Dnipro, houses, a hospital and a business were damaged. There were also rocket attacks on our other regions, guided bombs - on Kharkiv and on our frontline positions.
"All this can be stopped only by one thing - only by more air defense systems, only by more long-range strikes on the places where Russian terrorists are based, on their air bases. We are actively discussing all this with our partners at all levels. We are preparing for the NATO summit in Washington, in particular in terms of Petriots for Ukraine," Zelenskyy said during his evening video address.
