On the night of July 27, the Defense Forces struck an export terminal in Rostov-on-Don, causing a fire. Strikes on enemy targets in southern Ukraine also continue.
Today, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck an export terminal in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation, as well as a control repeater for attack UAVs and a road bridge in the Kherson region, reports UNN citing a statement from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On the night of July 27, 2026, as part of reducing the military-economic potential of the Russian aggressor, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck an export terminal in Rostov-on-Don, Rostov region of the Russian Federation.
"A hit on the facility was recorded, followed by a fire on its territory," the General Staff reported.
Also struck was a ground-based repeater for controlling attack UAVs of the "Geran"/"Gerbera" type in the area of Zaliznyi Port, Kherson region.
"The repeater ensures increased range, stability, and quality of control over attack unmanned aerial vehicles used by the enemy for strikes on the territory of Ukraine," the General Staff statement reads.
In addition, Ukrainian soldiers struck a road bridge across the Henichesk Strait in the Kherson region, which the enemy uses for military logistics in the temporarily occupied territories of southern Ukraine.
Also, a strike was carried out on an enemy repair unit in Kadiivka, a fuel and lubricants warehouse in Simeikine, Luhansk region, and a material and technical supplies warehouse in Perevalne (Autonomous Republic of Crimea).
Context
Ukrainian military are actively working to cut logistics arteries connecting the temporarily occupied Crimea with the Russian group in the south, actively using middle-strike UAVs, such as the FP-2 and "Behemoth". During June alone, at least five bridges were struck, including a railway bridge across the North Crimean Canal.
After a series of strikes on bridges, Ukrainian military attacked energy infrastructure, as well as tankers of the Russian shadow fleet in the Sea of Azov.
