The capabilities of the National Security and Defense Council will be strengthened — Zelenskyy approved the necessary organizational and personnel decisions

President Zelenskyy heard a report from National Security and Defense Council Secretary Klymenko and planned to strengthen the agency’s capabilities. Organizational and personnel decisions have been approved for a more prompt response to challenges.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy heard a report from Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Ihor Klymenko and scheduled the strengthening of the NSDC’s capabilities, as well as approved the necessary organizational and personnel decisions, reports UNN.
Ihor Klymenko’s report. We planned to strengthen the NSDC’s capabilities. In addition to its usual function of coordinating processes in the field of Ukraine’s security and defense, there needs to be more substantive assessment of all the parameters of our state’s resilience. Responding to man-made emergencies, eliminating the consequences of Russian strikes, carrying out tasks to prepare regions and communities for the winter period and the related challenges – all of this must take place much more promptly
The president added that he had approved the necessary organizational and personnel decisions for Klymenko.
We agreed to change the approaches to forming the agenda and monitoring the implementation of decisions by the Staff and the NSDC. We also identified measures to achieve better results for Ukraine in the areas of ensuring cybersecurity and information resilience, as well as countering Russian information operations
