Preparations for winter, cybersecurity, and weapons production - Zelenskyy presented Klymenko as NSDC Secretary and outlined tasks

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy officially presented the new Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (RNBO) Ihor Klymenko, and also voiced his expectations - preparation for winter, localization of air defense production in Ukraine, attention to cyber threats from Russia, countering Russian disinformation and information operations they conduct, reports UNN.

Officially presented the new Secretary of the RNBO Ihor Klymenko. Ihor has proven his effectiveness through his work in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. By its nature, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is a system of security and rescue structures that are managed and directed through the Minister of Internal Affairs. Ihor coordinated their work very well. Now, in the RNBO of Ukraine, this coordination function needs to be maximally strengthened.

The President expects that the Secretary of the RNBO, together with the Prime Minister of Ukraine, with all necessary officials, the Office team, with the military, and with our special services, will add efficiency and substance to all work on preparation for winter.

I expect more substantive and coordinated interaction between all components of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine. Ukraine needs to carry out all preparatory work as quickly as possible for the localization of air defense production in Ukraine, the missiles we need, and other additional weapons. More attention should be paid to cyber threats from Russia, countering Russian disinformation and information operations they conduct.

The President added that he expects proposals from Ihor Klymenko on what decisions need to be made for greater results for Ukraine.
