Russia has once again attacked the railway in the Sumy region; one female railway worker was killed and another was injured. Train traffic continues, though there are delays, JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" reported on Friday, according to UNN.

At night, the enemy attacked the railway infrastructure of the Sumy region. As a result of the strike, a female employee of one of the railway facilities was killed. A mobile shelter had been installed there. According to preliminary information, the woman was heading towards it during the air raid alert

"Another female employee of the electrical interlocking post has been hospitalized. Doctors diagnosed a pelvic bone fracture and internal bleeding. She has already undergone surgery," the report says.

According to data from the Sumy Regional Military Administration, as a result of enemy strikes in the Sumy region, 2 people were killed and 10 people were injured by enemy shelling over the past day. Destruction and damage to private houses, cars, and civilian infrastructure facilities were also recorded.

The Sumy region police noted that over the past day, Russian troops shelled 30 settlements in the region, and 13 people were injured.
