Occupiers struck a locomotive depot in the Sumy region, resulting in the death of a woman and leaving four others with burns. Train traffic in the region is maintained.
Russia attacked the railway in Konotop, one female railway worker was killed, and four other employees were injured; train traffic in the Sumy region continues, reported Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration - Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksiy Kuleba and JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" on Thursday, UNN writes.
Russia carried out another attack on Ukraine's civilian railway infrastructure. A locomotive depot in Konotop, Sumy region, came under enemy fire. Unfortunately, a female railway worker was killed. Four more employees were injured – they are receiving the necessary medical assistance,
Ukrzaliznytsia confirmed that "today, as a result of an enemy strike on a locomotive depot in the Sumy region, a female railway worker was killed. Four other railway workers were also injured." The victims, as stated, have been hospitalized with burns, and doctors are providing them with medical care.
"We are maintaining the movement of regional and suburban trains in the Sumy region. Once again, we urge everyone to be cautious, not to ignore air raid signals, and to follow the instructions of railway workers," UZ stated.
"The terrorist country continues to purposefully attack civilian infrastructure facilities and the people who ensure the country's operation," emphasized Deputy Prime Minister Kuleba.
