In Konotop, one person was killed and two others were injured due to shelling. In the Znob-Novhorodske community, a drone killed a grandmother; her two young grandchildren have been hospitalized.
Konotop in the Sumy region has been under intense Russian attack since the night; there is one dead and several injured, the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, reported on social media on Thursday, UNN writes.
Since the night, the enemy has been intensively attacking the Konotop community. There are hits on civilian infrastructure facilities. A fire broke out at the site of a Russian UAV strike. Preliminarily, one person died and two others were injured,
Also, according to him, in the morning, the enemy attacked a house with a drone where a grandmother and her two young grandchildren were staying, in the Znob-Novhorodske community.
The woman died. She would have turned 68 next week.
"Two small grandchildren of the deceased were also in the house. The children were taken to the hospital for examination. Preliminarily, they did not suffer serious injuries," Hryhorov stated.
As specified by the regional prosecutor's office, the children are a 3-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl.
