The Verkhovna Rada will consider the resignation of Mykola Solsky as Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine at its next meeting.
Verkhovna Rada Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk said that at the next session of the parliament they will consider a statement from Mykola Solsky on his resignation as Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. He said this during a telethon on Friday, UNN reports.
As for the dear Mr. Minister, yes, we have received a statement, as I posted on my social media, this is the Minister's request. And then, of course, it is a matter for the relevant law enforcement and judicial authorities. And I want everyone to clearly understand that it is very important for us that in a democratic country, it is the judiciary that puts an end to any such disputes, any persecution. Therefore, the Parliament will do its political work, and at the next meeting we will consider this issue

On Friday, April 26, the HACC imposed a pre-trial restraint on Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solsky in the form of detention with the possibility of bail in the amount of UAH 75.7 million.

On April 23, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine announced that the former head of the Verkhovna Rada's Agricultural Committee and current minister was caught in the seizure of state land worth UAH 291 million and an attempt to seize land worth another UAH 190 million. As reported by a source of UNN, it is Mykola Solsky, who currently serves as Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
On April 25, the Verkhovna Rada received a statement from Mykola Solsky resigning as Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
