According to the publication, the DPRK embassy in London reported that diplomatic relations have been downgraded to the level of chargé d'affaires until the United Kingdom lifts the restrictions on the camp.

The DPRK embassy called this decision a "disgusting, unethical, politically motivated provocation" and accused Britain of trying to damage relations between Pyongyang and Moscow.

London does not comment

The UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office refused to comment on the information regarding the recall of the ambassador and the reasons for such a decision.

At the same time, in May, the DPRK Foreign Ministry stated that the sanctions against the camp were groundless and that London would "pay a price" for this step.
