According to the results of average daily observations, air quality in the Kyiv region remains stable – no exceedances of permissible concentrations of harmful substances were detected, and the gamma radiation level corresponds to the natural background. This was reported by the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, according to UNN.

According to available information, air quality monitoring is carried out at 16 points in various cities and towns of the Kyiv region. Specifically, in Brovary, Bila Tserkva, Boryspil, Pereyaslav, Vyshhorod, Boyarka, Obukhiv, Kaharlyk, Uzyn, Bohuslav, Vasylkiv, Irpin, Ivankiv, Vyshneve, the village of Velyka Dymerka, and the village of Pidhirtsi.

As of 10:00, the fire has covered 1,200 hectares – the spread of the fire is facilitated by dry weather and sharp gusts of wind.

In total, 326 people are involved in extinguishing the fire, including 211 rescuers from the State Emergency Service.
