According to two sources in European intelligence, dozens of Russian military personnel are undergoing training in Iran on the use of Fath 360 missiles. Now, the "only possible step" after the training will be the transfer of such weapons to Russia.

The interlocutors of the publication said that representatives of the Russian Ministry of Defense signed a contract with Iranian officials on December 13 for the supply of Fath 360 and another ballistic missile system created by the Iranian state organization Aerospace Industries Organization (AIO) called Ababil.

Two sources in European intelligence did not give an exact timeframe for the possible delivery of Fath 360 missiles to Russia, but said it would happen soon.

A representative of the U.S. National Security Council has already said that his country and NATO allies are "ready to respond quickly and firmly if Iran makes such deliveries.

At the same time, the Russian Defense Ministry ignored the publication's request for comment.

Iranian Fath 360 missiles can hit targets within a radius of 120 kilometers. They have warheads weighing 150 kg.

A few years ago, Defense Express wrote that experts called Iran's Fath 360 missiles an analog of the US HIMARS. In particular, they have the capability of satellite control.

The newspaper notes that the supply of such missiles could allow Russia to use long-range missiles of its own production to strike targets behind the front line, while Iranian weapons will be designed for a shorter range.
