A Russian jet-powered UAV struck a civilian facility of "Nova Poshta" in Sumy, claiming the lives of three drivers aged 43, 53, and 48. Due to the threat of repeated attacks, rescuers could not quickly eliminate the consequences.
In Sumy, three drivers of "Nova Poshta" were killed in a Russian drone attack, reported on Saturday the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Oleh Hryhorov on social media, writes UNN.

According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, a large-scale fire broke out at the impact site. Due to the threat of repeated attacks, rescuers could not work fully and quickly eliminate the consequences of the strike.
As indicated by the State Emergency Service, the Russians targeted civilian infrastructure and near a residential area. Cars and non-residential buildings were burning. Rescuers worked at several locations simultaneously. Due to constant risks of repeated Russian strikes, they had to retreat to safe places each time, and then return again to extinguishing.
"At the epicenter of the strike, the bodies of two victims were found. Another man with extremely severe injuries was evacuated from the strike site by police. On the way to the hospital, he died. The victims were 43, 53, and 48 years old," - indicated Hryhorov.
At "Nova Poshta" they indicated that "on the night of July 25, the enemy struck the territory of the motor yard of the sorting terminal of Nova Poshta in Sumy". "As a result of this attack, three drivers of our partner carriers were killed. Employees of the Nova Poshta terminal were not injured," - reported at "Nova Poshta". "Unfortunately, there are also injured drivers. Their condition is stable and their lives are not in danger."
Detailed information regarding the damaged cargo is promised to be established in the near future. "We will compensate clients for the declared value of shipments that were destroyed as a result of the attack. Nova Poshta has activated backup logistics routes and sorting hubs to minimize possible delays in delivery," - the statement reads.
