In Lyman, the SBU detained a local resident who was hiding a Russian scout and correcting fire. During the detention, the occupier was liquidated.

The Security Service of Ukraine, in cooperation with units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, detained a Russian agent in the Donetsk region and eliminated a Russian militant whom she was hiding in her own home. This was reported by the SBU press service, according to UNN.

According to the investigation, a Russian serviceman with the call sign "Shaman" infiltrated the territory of Lyman to scout the positions of the Defense Forces in the frontline community. There, he established contact with a local unemployed woman, who subsequently hid him in her house,
The Ruscist then involved the woman in adjusting enemy fire on Ukrainian troops in the territory of Lyman and its surroundings.
To do this, the suspect scouted the area under the guise of taking walks to identify the locations of Defense Forces bases.
She then passed the geolocations of potential "targets" to the Russian militant, who reported the coordinates for shelling to his command via radio.
According to the case files, "Shaman" served in the 31st Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 67th Motorized Rifle Division of the 25th Combined Arms Army of the aggressor country's Central Military District.
SBU officers documented the reconnaissance activities of the enemy "pair" in advance and took measures to secure the positions of Lyman's defenders.
Security Service investigators notified the detainee of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).
The perpetrator is in custody. She faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
