"As a result of hostilities and shelling of energy facilities, part of consumers in Donetsk, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions temporarily remain without electricity supply," the statement reads.
As indicated, energy workers are working to restore power to Ukrainian homes as soon as possible. Restoration work continues around the clock.
"No restrictions are forecasted today. Active energy consumption today should be shifted to daytime - from 10:00 to 16:00," the Ministry of Energy noted.
Electricity consumption, according to Ukrenergo, corresponds to seasonal indicators. Today, July 23, as of 09:30, it was at the same level as at the same time the previous day – on Wednesday. Yesterday, July 22, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. It was 2.8% lower than the maximum of the previous day – on Tuesday, July 21. The reason is a decrease in air temperature across the entire territory of Ukraine, which leads to a lower need for consumers to use air conditioners.
