CPD on elections in Hungary: Russia loses information war in Europe despite billions in spending

The head of the CPD, Kovalenko, announced the defeat of Russian propaganda in the Hungarian elections. The opposition Tisza party won a constitutional majority in the country.
The elections in Hungary are another answer to everyone who says that "Russia is winning the information war." This was written on Telegram by Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (CCD), reports UNN.

"It is not winning - it is losing, both against Ukraine and against Europe, and against Ukraine in Europe. And all this despite billions of funds spent annually precisely on this. And they started spending back in the 00s," Kovalenko noted.
He added that in the last year alone, Russia lost in Romania, Moldova, and Hungary.
Russia is also currently putting a lot of effort into Bulgaria, where it is trying to influence the information field ahead of the parliamentary elections, which will also take place in April.
