The case of propagandist Boris Korchevnikov has been referred to court. He called for the seizure of Ukrainian territories and justified the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.

Prosecutors of the Office of the Prosecutor General have completed the pre-trial investigation and sent to court an indictment against Russian propagandist Boris Korchevnikov - the general director of the "Spas" TV channel, a theater and film actor, UNN reports with reference to the Office of the Prosecutor General.

As reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General, Russia systematically uses media, public organizations, and public figures to wage an information war against Ukraine. Representatives of culture, science, religion, and show business are involved in spreading Kremlin narratives.
Heading the Orthodox TV channel "Spas," Korchevnikov carried out information and propaganda activities against Ukraine for a long time. In media appearances, social networks, and public comments, he called for the seizure of Ukrainian territories, justified and heroized the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, supported the military-political leadership of the aggressor state, and discredited the Ukrainian authorities
The Office of the Prosecutor General added that one of the key tools of his propaganda was religious rhetoric. Through appeals to faith, the use of symbols and quotes, he manipulated the religious feelings of the audience and promoted the ideological narratives of the Kremlin.
It was also established that the accused repeatedly visited the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, where he continued to justify Russian aggression.
