In Ukraine, an organized group was exposed that fictitiously employed conscripts as teachers of a private institution. Over two years, about 200 people received deferments, eight participants were detained. Law enforcement officers exposed a group that had been fictitiously registering conscripts as teachers for more than two years. Eight people were detained, 30 searches were conducted.
Law enforcement officers detained 8 participants in a scheme of fictitious registration of about 200 conscripts as teachers to obtain deferments, 30 searches were conducted, the Prosecutor General's Office reported on Tuesday, writes UNN.

"Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors from the Office of the Prosecutor General in Kyiv and Lviv, an organized group was exposed that for more than two years fictitiously employed conscripts as teachers at a private educational institution to obtain deferments from mobilization. According to the investigation, during this time about 200 people arranged deferments through the TCC and SP in various regions of Ukraine," the statement reads.
As stated, "eight members of the group were detained, including the director of a private vocational education institution and two lawyers." They have been notified of suspicion under Part 3 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The investigation established that the organizers renewed the license of the educational institution in Kyiv, opened a branch in Lviv, and equipped premises to simulate the educational process. For a fee of from 5 thousand US dollars, conscripts were fictitiously registered as teachers, forged personnel, accounting, and educational documents were produced, and information about alleged employment was submitted to the tax authorities. Separately, clients paid funds for salary accrual and tax payment.
Within the framework of the investigation, 30 searches were conducted. The suspects were placed in custody and under house arrest as preventive measures.
