Fire Point chief designer Denys Shtilerman confirmed that the Flamingo missile struck the "Aviatek" plant in Kirov. The enterprise produces components for Tor air defense systems and Kh-101 missiles.
Co-founder and chief designer of Fire Point, Denys Shtilerman, released a video of the launch of the Flamingo missile, which struck a plant in Russia's Kirov, reports UNN.
In Kirov (Russia), the enterprise "Aviatek," which is part of the Russian aviation-defense complex, was hit by a missile strike. According to data from OSINT analysts, workers were likely not evacuated, which increases the probability of significant casualties among personnel.
This enterprise specializes in the production of surface-to-air guided missiles, target missiles, ejection seats, and aviation systems. It is involved in the production of the Tor air defense system and also supplies components for engines for Kh-101 and Kh-59M2/Kh-59M2A missiles. The plant also produces, repairs, and modernizes K-36DM ejection seats used on Su-34 and Su-57 fighter jets.
Co-founder and chief designer of Fire Point, Denys Shtilerman, posted a video of the Flamingo launch on his X account, confirming that it was this weapon that struck the plant in Kirov.

Earlier, CEO and CTO of the Ukrainian defense company Fire Point, Iryna Terekh, stated that long-range strikes on Russian territory, which have become a daily reality, demonstrate that the enemy no longer has a deep rear.
"With Flamingo and the upgraded version FP-1, we have achieved another world record for a flight range of 3000 kilometers. We are rethinking the doctrine of the 'deep rear' and, in a way, rewriting military terminology. Currently, our enemy has no such concept as a deep rear. And that is good for us," she noted.
