Over the last day, 123 combat engagements took place, 40 of them in the Kurakhove sector. The enemy attacked in various parts of the frontline, Ukrainian troops repelled most of the attacks, and the situation remains under control.

The General Staff reports 80 combat engagements on the frontline over the last day, almost half of them in the Pokrovsk sector. In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy carried out 12 attacks near Lypky, Hlyboke, Tykhy and Vovchansk.

The Russian army shelled the settlements of Donetsk region 6 times. On August 12, 4 civilians were killed and 4 others were injured. Dozens of buildings and infrastructure facilities were damaged.
