The Russian army shelled settlements in Donetsk region six times over the last day. As a result of the Russian strikes on August 12, 4 residents of Donetsk region were killed and 4 more people were injured. This was reported by the head of the RMA Vadim Filashkin, UNN reports.

On August 12, Russians killed 4 residents of Donetsk region: 2 in Ukrainsk, 1 in Toretsk and Kostyantynivka. Another 4 people were wounded in the region over the day

According to Filashkin, the operational situation in the region as of the morning of August 13 is as follows:

  • Volnovakha district. A house was destroyed in Bohoyavlenka of the Vuhledar community, 6 houses and 2 social institutions were damaged.
  • Pokrovsk district. Two people died and one was wounded in Ukrainska Selydivka community. Kurakhove, the outskirts of Ocheretynska, Marinka and Grodivska communities were shelled.
  • Kramatorsk district. In Torske of the Liman community, 3 houses were destroyed and 4 damaged. In Kostyantynivka, 1 person was killed and 1 injured, a house was destroyed, 5 houses, an industrial building, a car and 2 power lines were damaged; 4 houses in Mykolayivka were also damaged in the community.
  • Bakhmut district. In Toretsk, 1 person died and 2 were injured, a house was damaged. In Chasovoyarsk community, 6 private houses, a multi-storey building and a non-residential building were damaged. In Siversk, 3 houses were damaged.

"In total, Russians fired 6 times at the settlements of Donetsk region over the last day. We evacuated 1839 people from the frontline, including 126 children," said Filashkin.
