The head of the Donetsk RMA spoke about the restoration of fortifications destroyed by the enemy and the construction of new ones. Since the beginning of the war, more than 600 platoon strongholds have been built in Donetsk Oblast, and about UAH 2.6 billion has been spent.

There were 71 combat engagements over the last day. The occupants launched 4 missile and 45 air strikes and fired almost 2,300 times at Ukrainian positions using various types of weapons.

Russian troops shelled 14 localities in Donetsk region. Four civilians were killed and 12 wounded. Dozens of houses, administrative buildings and infrastructure facilities were damaged.

Over the last day, 101 combat engagements took place, most of them in the Pokrovske and Lyman sectors. The enemy carried out 73 air strikes and fired 4,747 times, and the Defense Forces repelled numerous attacks in various parts of the frontline.

As of 16:00, 56 combat engagements took place in the frontline. The hottest fighting continues in the Liman and Pokrovsk sectors, where Ukrainian troops are holding back enemy attempts to break through the defense.

During the three days of mandatory evacuation, 1010 children from 756 families have been evacuated from the dangerous areas of Donetsk Oblast. The evacuation continues, with another 3,723 children to be evacuated from 28 of the most dangerous settlements.

Rescuers evacuated 73 people from Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region, including 21 children and 7 people with limited mobility. The authorities urge citizens not to risk their lives and emphasize the need to evacuate.

Fierce fighting continues on a large part of the border strip in Kharkiv region as Russian occupiers try to gain a foothold in some occupied villages for further advancement, while Ukrainian troops hold their positions and inflict losses on the enemy, President Zelenskyy's report says.
