A fire broke out on the second floor of a psychoneurological boarding school in Pivdenne. Six people were injured, one suffered 90% burns to his body, and five were poisoned by carbon monoxide.

There were 149 combat engagements in the frontline, with the most difficult situation in the Pokrovske and Kursk sectors. The enemy carried out 31 air strikes, used 709 kamikaze drones and fired 3,500 times.

As of December 2024, 1255 damaged cultural heritage sites were recorded in Ukraine due to the war. The most affected sites are in Kharkiv, Kherson, and Donetsk regions.

A 65-year-old woman from Kyiv died under the wheels of a Kharkiv-Kyiv train in the Baryshiv community. The driver tried to prevent the tragedy by braking and sounding the horn, but the woman died on the spot.

As a result of a Russian shelling of the village of Kivshаrivka in the Kupiansk region, a woman who was on the street was killed. A multi-apartment building was also damaged, and law enforcement officers are recording the consequences of the attack.

At night, the occupiers attacked Kharkiv region with “shaheds”, hitting three settlements. Three civilians were injured in the previous shelling and hospitalized.

Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions 133 times in 24 hours, most of them in the Pokrovsk sector - 26 attempts. The enemy suffers significant losses, 19 firefights are still ongoing.

The occupants attacked the settlements of Zaporizhzhia region using 198 UAVs of various types. There were also 5 attacks from multiple rocket launchers and 128 artillery strikes.
