"I don't know what prevents the US from putting pressure on Russia to stop hitting civilians with drones every day and violating the ceasefire on energy," Kovalenko wrote on Telegram.

He noted that "the US president wanted the war to end because many people are dying." "Ukraine immediately agreed to a comprehensive ceasefire, because we want the war to end. Russia does not want to and does not end," Kovalenko said.

He made this statement after US Vice President Jay Dee Vance said that "we all obviously have a ceasefire in the energy infrastructure", and agreements on ensuring safe navigation in the Black Sea are "almost reached", sharing optimism about a peaceful settlement and emphasizing the achievement of "incredible progress".

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also indicated that the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation continues to produce fakes about the pseudo-destruction of Ukrainian energy facilities in the Russian Federation and in the territories occupied by it.

The General Staff emphasized: The Defense Forces of Ukraine strictly adhere to the agreements reached with partners regarding the cessation of strikes against energy facilities. Fire damage is carried out exclusively on military targets of the Russian occupation army.

At the same time, specific violations of these agreements by the Russian army are recorded, in particular, Russian strikes were carried out in just one day, which damaged energy facilities in Kherson and Poltava region, the General Staff noted on March 28.
