Enemy shelling of Kharkiv: number of victims increased to 35

Due to Russian shelling of Kharkiv, the number of injured has increased to 35, including five children. 13 people were hospitalized, one teenage girl is in serious condition.

This was reported by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, reports UNN.

Tonight, Kharkiv once again felt the horror and cynicism of Russian terror. For the second time in a week, the enemy launched a combined attack, launching seven "Shaheds" at residential areas, a hospital and the city's infrastructure. Two civilians were killed - a man and a woman. 35 wounded, including five children. 13 people were hospitalized, one teenage girl is in serious condition

- Terekhov wrote.

Terekhov called the attack on the military hospital the most insidious.

In the Shevchenkivskyi district alone, 27 residential buildings were damaged, almost a thousand windows were broken. The market, the registry office, the House of Projects, a college, and a dormitory where IDPs live - people who have already lost their homes once due to the Russian war - were destroyed. More than ten civilian cars and garages were burned. These are the consequences of just one night

- said the mayor.

According to him, mobile ASCs are already working in the three microdistricts where the destruction is greatest, so that the victims can register for compensation more quickly. They were opened in schools 129, 51 and 116.

Kholodnohirskyi district was also hit. 32 private houses were destroyed and more than 120 windows were broken. Tomorrow we are opening a mobile ASC in school 67 to make assistance available there as well

- wrote the mayor.

Terekhov noted that the situation is difficult, but Kharkiv is working.

Public utilities have been eliminating the consequences since the first minute after the shelling. As of now, a third of the contours have already been closed. All utilities are normal. We offer resettlement to everyone whose homes have been damaged. Public transport is operating as normal. Power grids were restored overnight

- Terekhov noted.
