Details
Yesterday, December 28, the enemy launched one missile strike on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, using five missiles and 94 air strikes, dropping 179 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it carried out 5899 shellings, including 145 from rocket salvo systems, and involved 2853 kamikaze drones for destruction.
The aggressor launched air strikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Ugroidy, Naumivka, Myropilske, Krasnopillia, Petrushivka, Prohody of Sumy region; Novopil of Donetsk region; Kamyanske, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka of Zaporizhia region; Kozatske of Kherson region
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck nine areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, one air defense system, one control point, two artillery systems and two other enemy objects.
Situation by directions
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy tried four times to break through the defensive lines of our defenders in the areas of Vovchansk and towards Kamyanka.
In the Kupyansk direction, three attacks by the invaders took place yesterday. Our defenders repelled the assault actions of the enemy in the area of Zahryzove and in the direction of Bohuslavka.
In the Liman direction, the enemy attacked 16 times. He tried to wedge into our defense in the areas of the settlements of Nadiya, Yampolivka and towards Hrekivka, Novy, Novomykhailivka, Zelena Dolyna.
In the Siversk direction, our soldiers successfully stopped one enemy attack near Ivano-Dariivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked four times in the area of Chasovy Yar and in the direction of Bila Hora, Predtechyne.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 20 attacks in the area of Toretsk and towards Diliivka and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 73 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Panteleimonivka, Oleksandropil, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Novosergiyivka, Udachne, Novoleksandrivka, Kotlyarivka, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka and towards Kalynove.
In the Novopavlivsk direction, the enemy carried out 17 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kostyantynopil, Rozlyv, Dniproenerhiya during the past day.
In the Huliaipil direction, our defenders stopped four attacks in the area of Pryvilne.
In the Orikhiv direction, the occupying forces stormed the positions of the Defense Forces eight times towards the settlements of Shcherbaky, Mali Shcherbaky, Mala Tokmachka, Stepove, Kamyanske and north of Nesteryanka.
In the Pridniprovsk direction, our defenders successfully stopped two enemy attacks.
In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue the operation in the Kursk region. Over the past day, the enemy launched 28 air strikes, dropping 44 guided aerial bombs, carried out 371 shellings, 16 of them from rocket salvo systems. Ukrainian defenders stopped 14 assaults by the invaders
Our soldiers inflict significant losses on the occupying forces in manpower and equipment and actively undermine the offensive potential of the enemy in the rear.
In general, over the past day, losses of Russian invaders amounted to 1740 people. Also, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 23 tanks, 34 armored combat vehicles, 64 artillery systems, one rocket salvo system, three air defense systems, 164 unmanned aerial vehicles of operational-tactical level, 118 vehicles of the occupiers.
