Russian troops continue to storm Ukrainian positions in several areas. Most attacks were repelled in the Liman and Pokrovsk sectors, where intense fighting continues.

The President noted the resilience and dedication of the TRO soldiers in defending the state. Zelenskyy thanked for the destruction of the enemy and honored the memory of those who died in the battles for Ukraine.

There were 169 combat engagements in 10 key sectors over the last day. Most attacks were recorded in the Pokrovske (30) and Kurakhove (26) sectors, with the enemy actively using aviation and drones.

According to the General Staff, 159 combat engagements took place in the frontline over the past day. The enemy launched 3 missile and 82 air strikes, fired over 4,400 times, including 161 times from multiple rocket launchers.

President Zelensky met with teachers from Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Poltava regions. He awarded them state awards and conferred honorary titles for their important work in the regions bordering the aggressor.

Ukrainian cities are actively establishing partnerships with foreign municipalities. This allows them to receive humanitarian aid, implement energy efficiency projects, and prepare for post-war reconstruction.

In Chernihiv, a sewer collector in the Sherstyanka district was destroyed. Residents of ZAZ, Masan, Podusivka and Sherstyanka are asked to reduce water consumption on October 4-7 and to make reserves of drinking water.

Most of the identified components in Russian weapons come from US and European companies. Parts from four Western manufacturers were found in the wreckage of the Iskander missile that hit Chernihiv.

A Russian drone attacked a car carrying liquefied gas in the Koryukiv district of Chernihiv region. The explosion killed 3 people, including a child, and injured 4. The head of the RMA called it a “terrible act of terrorism”.

On October 3, several Russian Shahed drones flew into Belarus during the attack on Ukraine. At the same time, a helicopter carrying Lukashenka was spotted flying south over Belarus.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a threat of attack UAVs in Kyiv region. Hostile drones were also spotted in Chernihiv region, particularly near Chernihiv and Pryluky, and air defense systems may be operating.

A car carrying traitor judge Vitaliy Lomeiko exploded in the temporarily occupied Berdiansk. The GUR reports that Lomeiko collaborated with the occupiers and was involved in the repression of Ukrainians.

Over the last day, 155 combat engagements took place in the frontline, most of them in the Kupyansk, Pokrovsk and Kurakhove sectors. The enemy launched 2 missile and 68 air strikes, firing over 3,810 times at Ukrainian positions.

The Heavenly Watch memorial sculpture in honor of the fallen Heroes of the 10th Mobile Border Guard Detachment was unveiled in the Darnytsia district of Kyiv. The memorial was created in the new Heroes of the Border Guard Park with the support of patrons.

There were 74 combat engagements over the last day. The occupants are most active in the Pokrovske, Kurakhove, Kupyanske and Lyman directions, launching air strikes and artillery shelling at the border areas.
