An outbreak of acute intestinal infection has been reported in a Chernihiv kindergarten, with 6 children and 1 adult falling ill. All the victims were hospitalized, and anti-epidemic measures are being taken at the facility.
An outbreak of acute intestinal infection has been recorded in Chernihiv, with 7 people falling ill, the Chernihiv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine reported on Wednesday, UNN reports.

"An outbreak of acute intestinal infection caused by rotavirus has been registered in Chernihiv over the past week. As of December 25, we already have 7 victims," the center said.
As Artem Yaroshenko, deputy director general of the center, told Suspilne, six children and one adult in one of Chernihiv's kindergartens fell ill with an acute intestinal infection caused by the rotavirus.
According to him, all patients are currently hospitalized and receiving appropriate treatment. Anti-epidemic measures are being taken at the facility.
