Over the past day, 186 combat engagements took place, the enemy carried out 7 air strikes and fired over 5,000 times. Most attacks were registered in the Pokrovsk sector - 43 assault attacks.
Over the past 24 hours, 186 combat engagements took place at the frontline, with the largest number of attacks recorded in the Pokrovsk sector and in the Kursk region, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a morning report, UNN reports.

According to updated information, yesterday the enemy conducted seven air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, dropping nine guided aerial bombs. In addition, it carried out more than five thousand attacks, including 188 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used about 2,400 kamikaze drones.
Yesterday, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces conducted nine strikes on areas where personnel and weapons were concentrated, as well as one strike on the enemy's fuel and lubricants storage facility.

In the Kharkiv sector, two hostile attacks took place in the vicinity of Hatyshche and Vovchansk yesterday, both attacks were repelled, the enemy was not successful.
Seven occupants' attacks took place in the Kupyansk sector over the last day. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Petropavlivka, Kucherivka and Lozova.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked 27 times. He tried to advance near the settlements of Hrekivka, Zelenyi Hai, Platonivka, Pershotravneve, Nadiia, Makiivka, Terny, Novosergiivka, Yampolivka, Ivanivka and Bilohorivka.
In the Siversky sector, the enemy made one futile attempt to push our defenders from their positions near Zolotarivka yesterday.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupants attacked nine times in the area of Chasovyi Yar and in the direction of Stupochky.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy made six attacks near Shcherbynivka and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 43 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of Zelene Pole, Vozdvyzhenka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachanske, Novyi Trud, Vovkove, Solone, Novooleonivka, Novovasylivka, Shevchenko, Kotlyne and Novoyelizavetivka.
In the Kurakhove sector, the Defense Forces repelled 20 attacks. The enemy concentrated its main efforts in the areas of Ukrainka, Slovianka, Petropavlivka, Kurakhove and Dachne.
In the Vremivsky sector, the enemy conducted 20 attacks on our positions near the settlements of Kostyantynopolske, Yantarne, Uspenivka, Kostyantynopil and Pryvilne. He used bomber aircraft to attack the area.
In the Prydniprovsky sector, the Defense Forces successfully repelled two Russian attacks.
The enemy did not conduct active operations in the Orikhivsky and Huliaypilsky directions.
No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya sectors.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy is using artillery from the territory of the Russian Federation in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements and conducting reconnaissance activities.
The operation in the Kursk region continues. Our troops repelled 46 enemy attacks in this area over the past day. In addition, the enemy made 266 artillery attacks.
The Ukrainian defense forces inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
