Elon Reeve Musk was born on June 28, 1971, in Pretoria, South Africa. At the age of 17, he moved to Canada, and later to the USA, where he earned a bachelor's degree in physics and economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a co-founder of companies such as Zip2 and PayPal, and is known as the founder and head of SpaceX, as well as the CEO of Tesla Inc. He currently also leads Neuralink, The Boring Company, xAI, and is the owner of the social network X (formerly Twitter).
