Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov met with a delegation from the Finnish Parliament. They discussed investments in the Ukrainian defense industry and the creation of joint ventures.

In Prykarpattia, Ukrposhta has started sending summonses to the home addresses of persons liable for military service. The summonses contain electronic signatures of the heads of the military commissariats and a QR code, and the recipients must report to the commissariat within 14 days.

The member countries of the Coalition for Demining Capabilities have agreed to purchase €22 million worth of equipment for Ukraine's needs. The Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Economy are introducing new rules for electricity procurement for the Armed Forces. Order No. 651 establishes open tenders, requirements for participants, and criteria for evaluating proposals to ensure transparency and savings.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation refused to comment on reports of Mykhailo Fedorov's possible appointment as Defense Minister. There was also information about the possible replacement of Kyrylo Budanov as the head of the DIU.

More and more attention is focused on the figure of Yevhen Sokur, acting deputy head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, against whom the NACP launched an investigation for allegedly concealing information about his partner in his declarations. Experts believe that the official should be suspended for the duration of the inspection.

Draft law No. 12066 proposes to create a unified database of military personnel and introduce Military ID. This will improve military records and provide electronic services to the military and their families.

The Ukrainian government plans to create an extensive network of military lyceums in each region. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced the initiative to establish such an institution in Mykolaiv region.

Ukraine has invited the Nordic countries to join the Northern Brigade project. Each country will be able to train and arm a Ukrainian battalion and invest in Ukraine's defense industry.
