Zelenskyy discussed a meeting with Putin in the US with Trump to end the war. In case of Russia's refusal, the President called for increased pressure.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that during a conversation with US President Donald Trump, the parties discussed a trilateral meeting involving Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. According to the President, if Russia refuses this format as well, pressure will be needed, UNN reports.

As Zelenskyy noted, Ukraine offered to meet Putin in any location where real decisions to end the war could be made; however, according to the President, "he does not want this."
