Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, during which the parties discussed cooperation in defense, energy, and the peace process. Sybiha announced this on Telegram, UNN reports.

According to him, the negotiations were a continuation of the dialogue after President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's recent visit to Turkey and his meeting with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
We focused on promising joint projects in the areas of defense, energy, trade, and logistics. Our strategic partnership is a cornerstone of stability from the Black Sea to the Middle East.
Separately, the parties discussed the development of the trilateral Ukraine – Syria – Turkey format, particularly in the context of creating alternative supply chains.
Peace initiatives and cooperation
The Ukrainian Foreign Minister emphasized that he informed the Turkish side about the achievements of the Ukrainian defense industry and its potential for cooperation with Middle Eastern countries.
