Ukraine and Sweden prepare to sign contracts for the supply of Gripen aircraft - Ministry of Defense

Ukraine and Sweden are working on the supply of Gripen fighter jets for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As reported by the Ministry of Defense, this is one of the critically important elements for strengthening Ukrainian aviation and air defense, UNN reports.

As reported by the Ministry of Defense, the Gripen could become as important an element of protecting Ukrainian skies as the F-15, radars, and electronic warfare. In Stockholm, Ukraine's Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov discussed this with Swedish Prime Minister Kristersson, Defense Minister Jonson, and representatives of the Saab company.
