The President's Office discussed the transfer of Gripen aircraft and Ukraine's accession to the EU. The parties coordinated efforts to increase international pressure on Russia.

First Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Serhiy Kyslytsia met with a delegation from the Riksdag's Committee on Foreign Affairs of Sweden, during which the parties discussed European integration, military cooperation, and security issues. A key topic of the negotiations was support for Ukraine's accession to the European Union. Swedish representatives confirmed their support for Ukraine's European integration course and emphasized the importance of adhering to common rules and criteria for full membership.
Gripen and training of Ukrainian pilots
The parties paid special attention to the development of capabilities related to the transfer of Gripen fighter jets to Ukraine. Systemic training of Ukrainian pilots and technical personnel was discussed.
The Ukrainian side expects that the relevant training will begin in the near future.
Visit of the King of Sweden and cooperation with the USA
The meeting participants also discussed the results of the recent visit of King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden to Ukraine and the implementation of agreements reached during his negotiations with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Separately, the development of relations with the United States was discussed. Serhiy Kyslytsia emphasized the need to deepen transatlantic cooperation as a key element of security in Europe.
