US President Donald Trump has signed a decree to review the export of military equipment. This should stimulate job creation and support the income of defense companies.

U.S. President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to revise the rules for exporting military equipment, seeking to simplify sales of products from American defense companies abroad. This is reported by the Reuters news agency, reports UNN.
We are unable to effectively and reliably supply weapons systems to our key allies, and the main reason for this is the inefficiency and inconsistency of our foreign military supply approval process,
According to the news agency, the decree stipulates that the Department of Defense, the State Department and other agencies will review the international arms sales system of the United States of America. The goal is to make it more reliable, stimulating the creation of jobs in the USA and supporting the income of defense companies.
It is noted that Trump had previously planned to sign this document - based on the legislation proposed last year by his national security adviser Michael Waltz, who was then still a member of Congress.
The new approach is expected to boost sales for companies such as Lockheed Martin, RTX (formerly Raytheon Technologies) and Boeing.
Currently, the American arms export law gives Congress the right to review export agreements depending on the status of the partnership with the country and the volume of sales.
In addition, Trump signed an order for a complete overhaul of the Pentagon's procurement system. "We are modernizing the procurement structure so that the Department of Defense can adapt more quickly to new challenges," Scharf explained.
Current procurement programs will be analyzed to ensure their effectiveness and rational use of money.
In his first term, Trump repeatedly complained that Congress was delaying arms deals. In 2019, Trump circumvented the procedure by declaring a state of emergency due to tensions with Iran. This allowed him to approve arms sales worth more than $8 billion to Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Jordan, despite opposition from Congress.

The President of Ukraine said that Kyiv is ready to buy a large package of weapons from the USA. A list of the necessary weapons has already been submitted to the American side.
